This was inspired by a sight at the Amber Palace in Rajasthan during my travels in India a couple of years ago. Although I have developed it with a more stylized, simplified and graphic style, the essential elements of the shapes of the arches and the feeling of looking through them into the distance remains. The colours are also no longer true to the original but instead echo the colour palettes from the area that so captivated me. 
 
This has a paper size of 38 x 32cm, while the image itself is 28 x 22, allowing for a wide white border which includes the signature and edition number.
